First Autumn Show - October 2014
This new venture took place in the new community shed. Eleven members took part and
hopefully this will grow into a bigger event. Members who purchased tea and
coffee on the day were invited to judge the exhibits using the RHS criteria. It
didn’t take long for people to realise that size did not matter, but uniformity
of ripening and lack of blemishes and uniformity, when more than one example
was required, were the key criteria.

CC Geoffrey Evans (our President) – awarded the Best Exhibit prize of
a garden voucher to Tony McGarr for his potatoes.
