COMMITTEE CHANGES Following the recent resignations of Adrian and Cheryl Martin and Phillip Whiting the following changes are in place until the next A.G.M. There will be an end of season BBQ on Saturday 1st September at 4pm. Come along and join the fun. Have your main course cooked for you, but please bring something to share.

Despite a difficult growing season the show was well attended  with many entries of the usual high standard. So many thanks to all of those who entered in the various classes and to the helpers that made the day a great success.  The end of show auction of produce was its usual success.   Society Chairman, Philip Whiting, with Mike Stevens and the President of the Society, Geoffrey Evans, Mayor of Falmouth. Adrian and Cheryl are ‘retiring’ from the post of Treasurer/Assistant Treasurer on 30 th September , after many years of valued service. A volunteer is needed to step in and run this important job from 1 st October .   If you can help, please contact a committee member as soon as possible. Tom Greenaway, V.Chair

Don't Forget to Register Your Entries! This year the summer show is on Saturday 28th July. You will need to register your entries on the Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (24-26th July) in the week before the event. Wendy will be in the clubhouse between 4 and 6pm on each afternoon. BBQ A Great Success!! The June 2012 BBQ was a great success  we were lucky with the weather, despite an ocassional shower forcing a retreat into the club house! It was all great fun with lots of laughter.The food was superbly cooked by our resident chef Arno.  Not only did Arno provide culinary advice he also led the entertainments when we had  finished eating. We are all very grateful and really enjoyed the singing.                                                                                          ...

BBQ PARTY AT THE ALLOTMENTS 30th June 2012 Members, families and friend are invited to an afternoon BBQ Next Saturday at 2pm ---Picnic area on A site . Please bring your own food which will be cooked for you by our resident chef on our BBQ’s between 2pm and 4pm. Bring your own drinks and also something for the “To Share” table (e,g.salad, dessert etc).Complimentary tea/coffee and children’s drinks. Prize draw and childrens’ prizes. Please join us-we look forward to your company.
