Britain in Bloom Award
We were delighted to receive a Level 4 Award for our work in greening the environment. This acknowledges the value that our society adds to the local community. We are 'triving'!!
Chairman Tom Greenaway said, "This is the second year of entry and we are very proud that the Falmouth and District Allotment Society is part of the community team, which is involving schools, disabled groups and others who all use these allotments. We are a wide social group, a happy bunch and we are very pleased."
The photo show the presentation of the certificate to our society by Mr Geoffrey Evans, Our President and Mayor of Falmouth Town. Receiving the award are Tom Greenaway (Chair) and Robin Waddling (Vice-Chair).
